A Cannon Beach weekend can combine the low-tide shoreline, Hemlock Street, and Ecola State Park without assigning Haystack Rock a fixed clock time.

Check in, walk central Hemlock Street, and reach the beach for the evening conditions before a reserved or casual dinner.

Place Haystack Rock at the actual low-tide window. Use Ecola Point, Indian Beach, or the galleries for the other half of the day, subject to current park and weather conditions.

Check the Ecola State Park status page before driving north. If trails or weather are poor, use the galleries, shops, and cafés along Hemlock Street.

Pick up breakfast at Cannon Beach Bakery, walk the central beach from a Hemlock Street access, and check TripCheck before leaving the coast.
